No major news - though given that his tone was fairly upbeat.
Investment - there's stuff going on in the background, but no definitive resolution. MS wants RC and NH to stay involved, but there might be new owners with different ideas. All a bit up in the air still. This means that there'll be no new contract for Sandercock until it is sorted, if at all. He's talked to all the ooc players and they've been understanding.
The controversial new split league structure was described as 'bold', iirc.

So, all planning for 2014 is on hold while other clubs are getting them in place as we speak. If I was Sandy, I think I'd clear off now as he will be persecuted even more on here in 2014 when we are playing catch up again.

To be fair, most people having travelled around the world to take a job, to be told with just 6 months left of your contract that not only can your employer fully guarantee existing next year, they cant discuss any contract extension and that you may be made unemployed, furthermore that talent such as Watts, Taylor, Mcdonnel & Green would leave the club and replaced with lesser quality players. And then to be hung out to dry by your chairman after a run of poor results - could you blame him?
If I was him I would already have looked for work back home and made plans.
It might not be a question of KR 'keeping' him, but does he really want to stay?

| CS clearly never rated Watts, so his departure has no relevance to your point.
Of the 3/4 players we wanted, I think you'll find the board fully backed CS in finding replacements to his choosing. One we paid a transfer fee for, another was a proven NRL half back we stretched our budget for and the other guy apparently played a test match for NZ or something. Not exactly the worst name for name replacements.
"Hung out to dry by your chairman" - I assume you're referring to the outburst after our record dry humping defeat to Wigan ....? Yeh, I know - shocking. What gives the chairman the right!?

HOW on earth do you get NILLED at Wembley ?
When your coach isn't a winner at heart and Gentle is not a winner at heart .
We were a pub team
I coached for a long time and we won 95% of games because winning is a mental state driven by a desire to CRUSH an opposition. Did FC look as though they wanted to Crush Wigan and strangle them until they screamed ? NO
RL is a tough tough game and Maylord She-dong you have no clue
In fact don't ever ever reply to any of my posts again:37721.jpg |

mike smith didn't really tell us anything that we didn't already know! good effort though.

30596_1286642206.jpg If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.
