I had the misfortune to watch them against Scotland. Never mind as a game of rah rah, it was one of the worst sporting events I've ever seen, and I've watched golf a couple of times.
Didn't watch yesterday, glad to see the toffs lose, I don't think it's unpatriotic.
Unpatriotic would be doing something like denying someone recompense for the work they would have done if they hadn't been playing a sport that people had paid to see.

I'm glad. Can't stand the game. Tho I can't stand their fans even more. The euphoria from the 2003 win is well and truely gone, even think this years event has gone somewhat unoticed, apart from the off field troubles.

What toffs are you on about? Chris Ashton the wigan boy? the class war is in your mind pal, most of the England players come from the same background as most of us. They just get on with thier sport & dont care about fighting imaginary battles between the classes. You dont like Union fair enough, but they get more support in the Country than League, they get paid more than League players all for playing a slow boring game.

Ii put my hand up to admit that RU is the only sport where I actually want England to lose. It's not a class thing it's just that the RFU were allowed to carry out the equivalent of sporting apartheid against RL for the best part of a hundred years whilst still trying to claim the moral high ground. I bear grudges. Vive la France.

The other thing that makes me hate the game even more is them two s Dewi Morris and Stuart Barnes. I loved watching Barnes on sky sports last night spitting feathers at their demise from their premier event. Lol

To be honest I'd rather see the England football team lose than the RU team. I'm just sick of the sense of entitlement that the likes of Mr Rooney carry with them, and their total contempt for the rules of the game and the officials who enforce them.

As daft as this sounds but surely England RU not doing so well is a bad thing, yes i'll admit i enjoyed watching them lose but now they'll be scratching their heads and wondering how to solve the problems, that solution could well be raiding SuperLeague.

If they'd won the world cup or at least got to the final they would probably have maintained the status quo

I will support England in anything - except Rugby Union. Was pleased they got knocked out.

They seem to want to stop all running & passing from being played and hope they get enough penalties to win the game. If they do they then think they have done something wonderful.

They are the most boring, negative, pretentious and useless team in world sport.

They tried to rig things for England to get to the final by putting all the southern hemisphere teams in the other half of the draw. Didn't work, shame.

I'd agree with that HB, let's hope they do poach some RL players.
