With Welham getting his call up, it looks as though our youth policy is really paying dividends. Who'd have thought it 10 years ago when all the best young kids in the city opted for the dark side. Well done to all the lads selected, the coaching staff and the board, great stuff.

Good stuff for all concerned. Would be amazed if Welham gets anywhere near actually playing though! Not when we have superstars like Chris Bridge apparantly ahead of him in the pecking order

welham and yeaman have no chance of being picked

Yeamans only chance of getting picked is if the mcnamara decides to go with the briscoe/yeaman pairing as they have played the past couple of seasons together so know each others game. If was just on ability he would be far down the pecking order for me

Think Atkins, Bridge and Reed will be the main contenders

100%....Shenton, Atkins and now Reed will all be above Welham and Yeamo in the pecking order.

Think he'll probably go with Atkins (left) and Shenton (right), both play those positions for their club. Bridge to provide great cover off the bench.
