So the board are now taking our down turn in form seriously and having a big shake up for next season, so that's most of the team and coach gone then icon_rolleyes.gif

Now i'm not usually one for comments on the HDM pages but i think this one is spot on with regards the discipline and general attitude at HKR since Neil took a backwards step from it all

“This article is an indictment against Rovers CEO in so many ways and quite rightly so. Don't get me wrong, he is affable and a really nice guy, his intentions are good and he is Rovers thro and thro. He is liked by the clubs sponsors and most who meet him, however I have come to the conclusion he is all waffle and flannel; a man who has an excuse for everything and his blasé attitude has trickled downwards into other areas. I ask the question, is he the man to guide Rovers through the next phase of stadium development, financial re-structuring, and achieving the magic 10,000 figure for a sustainable future. I have deep reservations about his ability to be able to cope with this. His handling of the Mason fiasco and the de-registering of Dobson speaks volumes, and it is noticeable how others have taken the blame for this. Nice guys find difficulty with tough decisions so I will answer my own question with an emphatic vote of no confidence.”

After the shambles that has been our 2011 season a shake up is seriously needed.

So are you suggesting then that Mike Smith is to blame for ill discipline and off the field incidents. I wouldn't have thought managing the team's behaviour was in his remit, surely discipline of the players should come down to the Head Coach and possibly the football manager? 5 people were involved in bringing Mason to Rovers, he was one of them and they have put their hand up to the mistakes that were made, but also said, with the information they had at the time, they would do the same again.

I personally would rather our CEO concentrates more on the business side of the club rather than keeping an eye on the players when they're not at work.

To quote the official website profile

[iHe was promoted to the role of CEO in November 2010 and now oversees all the club's off-field operations.[/i

Going through the directors section, he appears to be the only one who you could consider in a full time role. Natuarally the buck stops with someone, but you also have to question how far 'the club's off-field operations' remit goes.

I personally think you have over achieved since you entered super league, can you not just wright this season off as a poor season and move forward with the coach that has got you this far?

Who is this source that is close to Rovers? Why does the HDM understand these things? Is there a mole in the camp?
