| Highly promising young forward Scott Taylor has signed a new two-year deal with Hull Kingston Rovers.
The 20-year old has come through the Robins Academy structure and made thirteen Super League appearances for the club, nine of which have come in 2011 as the prop really begins to break through onto the first team stage.
Despite rumoured interest from other Super League clubs Taylor says there is only one club he wants to be at to continue his progress.
"It's where I've learnt my trade and I've been part of the first team for three years now and I'm loving it," he commented after signing his new deal.
"I've just turned 20 so I'm really happy with my progress and hopefully I can get some more games before the season's out.
"We want to win trophies. The fans are the best in Super League and deserve some trophies. I just want to play regularly in Super League and hopefully get into double figures for games this year.
"I love this club. They've taught me everything I know and I'm happy to stay here for the rest of my career with the way I feel at the minute so I'm just looking forward to this next two years."
"Scott has got a lot of potential," said Rovers Head Coach Justin Morgan.
"He's got a really great work ethic for improving his game and he's got a thirst for knowledge.
"He's still only twenty but he's impressed me this year with his maturity on the training field and he has done well in the first team appearances he has made.
"He's hungry for more and I think we will see him make a big impact on the Super League stage in the next couple of years."
See more of the club's rising Academy talent in action in the Nines tournament at Craven Park on Tuesday night.
Turnstiles open at 6.30pm for six games of nines action featuring the Robins, Hull FC, Castleford Tigers and Bradford Bulls.

| Good business by Rovers, showed a lot of passion yesterday which contradicts what some Hull fans were saying, that he is an Hull fan an doesnt want to play for Rovers, I think the next forward we should be looking at from the academy is James Green, every time I have seen him he has been big an strong and ran straight and hard, need to be looking at the halves as well as good english ones are like gold dust

| I agree about James Green. Big strong kid with a decent turn of pace aswell. I'd like to see him given a full time deal and duel contracted out to a Championship club in order to play at a higher level than the 20s.
We have got some real prospects coming through in the forwards in Taylor, Watts, Cox and Green. Not one of them under 6ft 4 either! Could be the nucleus of our pack for years to come.
