| What a complete joke this situation has now developed into. First they drop the Celtic tag and are just 'Crusaders'. Now it appears they are Crusaders 'of no fixed abode'! Apparently they don't know yet where they will play their home games in 2010! Why don't we just call them 'South Wales'...oh hang on! haven't we already had that one and anyway, Wrexham is North-ish Wales not South Wales! I know, lets just kick them out altogether, save a load of money and just bring in Fax or Widnes? When will the RL learn? If the sheep-sh@ggers themselves don't want them why should we?!  |

The writing was on the wall from day one I fear. Personally I'd replace them with Toulouse. Having two French clubs will hasten France's Int ability and that will be far more beneficial to the game in the long run.

And for me too, they would bring far more to the game than another french club, in particular more away support.

I would have Widnes back in a heartbeat. A true and traditional RL club with a great stadium, sound fan base and a very good youth set up.

Me too,suppose I must be a traditionalist. Am I right in saying Widnes were not considered because of their financial situation? ..whilst Crusaders financial situation is??
I feel for the Crusaders supporters,but its been a damp squib from day one. |

Widnes for me, Crusaders, Cletic or whatever name thye are this week are never going to pull in the crowds the RFL was expecting/hoping for. Not only that but we already have 2 teams in the SL who bring next to nobody for away games a 3rd made it even harder for teams to turn a profit.
Yes i know away support does not bring in that much revenue but every bit helps.
