| Having had dealings with players from both Rovers and Hull in the past i know they go out of their way to accomodate fans wishes if at all possible.
Lots of this work goes on behind the scenes and the vast majority will probably be unaware of these gestures....unless it happens to relate to their own family or friends.
I am sure this happens at other clubs and as the Rugby League family we should be proud of these guys and long may it last.

Saints by plenty, by miles even!

It's nice to hear of gestures like this. I wonder if some of the prima donna premier league footballers care enough about the fans to do this sort of thing.

Exactly....100% spot on.
* I'm feeling quite ill having to agree with Stan, ( its only a one off ) but the prima donna soccer stars will have the world know when they agree to do anything with / for a deserving fan.

We're coming to make some noise!: |
|
| I'm no Man Utd fan or anything but Wayne Rooney does a lot for charity and doesnt go shouting it from the roof tops.
Nice of Micky to do that though I know the players really appreciate being made to feel like a part of the family.
