| At home games I always have a couple of pints in the Robins nest, last season had a moan about the rising cost of a pint, this season £5.90 for a pint of bitter and a pint of Lager is just to much, I noticed the bar was not as full as usual, as I think people will just have a pint elswhere.

| Agreed me and my friends have a drink in there before games as routine and ive noticed the increase and how it has effected how many go in. I think soccer sensations must be doing a roaring trade as a result

| Iv'e ran bars for years, its a false economy to keep raising your prices, if its driving your customers away, you end up making the same money off less people, but have a lot of pi$$ed off fans imo.

HOW on earth do you get NILLED at Wembley ?
When your coach isn't a winner at heart and Gentle is not a winner at heart .
We were a pub team
I coached for a long time and we won 95% of games because winning is a mental state driven by a desire to CRUSH an opposition. Did FC look as though they wanted to Crush Wigan and strangle them until they screamed ? NO
RL is a tough tough game and Maylord She-dong you have no clue
In fact don't ever ever reply to any of my posts again:37721.jpg |

| bar staff are not that clever either, waited for around 5 minutes, then cleared off!

| Pathetic prices, go to somewhere like weatherspoons in town and you can get a pint for £1.50, go to Makro and you can get a barrel for £50 (well £70 really but you can just take the barrel back to get that £20 back). It's just greed, that's what it is.

Same here, we were shocked at the price rises in the bars , £3 a pint, enough is enough, in future we will be going in soccer sensations.
For landlords and bar owners to put up prices as they are during the present economic climate is financial suicide imo, like someone else has said on here you can go into town and pay a great deal less, in fact you can go to Lambwath on Lambwath rd and get a pint of fosters for around £2 a pint.
If they can do it why cant Rovers and the Crown pub on Holderness rd who are also guilty of hiking the prices beyond what is reasonable.
Many pubs are absorbing price rises by the breweries but some seem to think that we have got bottomless pockets. they are slowly killing the goose that lays the egg.

Or £1.70 a pint in Spiders.

You've never seen a pint for £1.50 in wetherspoons anymore except for Greene King IPA which is 99p at the minute
Wetherspoons are really pushing prices up now obviously nothing like at Craven Park or the KC but serve well priced grub to drag you in
