Well I looked at today’s Saints team and thought that’s not right when in fairness they are playing Halifax in the semi... not a tough task no offence to Halifax.
But having read this come on Laaandon cos if there’s one thing I won’t miss it is coming to New Craven Park a place that’s bizarrely worse than the original one....
You couldn’t even beat a team with a back line full of our academy kids don’t say so much for them there ‘Robins’

| Well Id rather noone went down super league is very exciting this year, even more so after today, but god the qualitity is dreadful, us vs giants was awful quality as have so many of the games I've seen this year(and I don't just mean our games) I have a feeling we're going down and I honestly won't miss super league as it stands. I fear the game is in free fall so many poor teams, relegation as a treat means teams make short term choices, we should have stuck with licensing but made teams meet strict criteria to stay in, reserves, support of local amateur game, academies, facilities, business proitabilityand yes performances on the field. I clearly don't have the answers but the game is dying in the UK

Relegation is fair enough but on a level playing field. London 32-12 St Helens is not a result that would have happened had Saints sent half a team down there.
4/6 the bottom team has taken from the runaway leaders who have beaten and hammered most out of sight.
Anyone defending Saints is mad... yeah rest a few but 1-5 of the Championship would likely have beaten that team today... Rugby League just doesn’t get it....

| Wire fan in peace. Saints have now distorted the relegation battle by fielding a vastly weakened team. They should be heavily fined or deducted points for that. Not that anything will happen as they can do what they want at the moment. I refused to renew my season ticket this season because I was bored with the standard of rugby overall. I sometimes can't even be bothered watching all the games on Sky in case I fall asleep.

And wonder why attendances and enthusiasm at all clubs are failing. Half ar5ed approach taken for pretty much everything this sport, its appaling.
Sorry, but theres far too many "coincidences" happening lately to rule out things being contrived in certain ways. Look at the table now, everyone at the bottom bunched together. Sky would certainly want this, If it was logical; London would be sat on 12 and the season almost done.

| Against Catalans on the game after Easter Monday Saints rested the following: Coote, Makinson, Percival, Lomax, Thompson, Roby, Knowles & LMS. How come there was no uproar or accusations of cheating that weekend?

| The wire players helped us get a couple of results we'd prob not have got without them so it's thank you wire as far as I'm concerned, saints have earned the right to rest who they want it sucks for us but it is what it is. Do we bring more to super league than London or giants maybe, we sure haven't brought the super league players thru that either of them have, we get better crowds we take more fans away so I guess it's a mixed bag. If we go down we deserve it if we stay up we deserve that too. We are a poor side in a poor super league let's see if there's a worse team. We will know in about 8 weeks

Beaten who? Hull or Rovers? Hull and Rovers would have both comfortably beaten that saints outfit today.

Not a Rovers fan but have to agree Some stability financial and playing rosters can go some way to improving SL.

| Holbrook should be deported immediately back to Kooragang Island.
I didn't vote Brexit for jokers like him to come swanning over here, fielding his under 16's in a SL game, taking the mick out of all the hard working, traditional clubs like Rovers. Elstone should give us 4pts, it's only fair.

I've heard people saying "the game is dying" for the past 124 years.
Licensing/franchising, whatever it was called, was boooorrrring. 10 games in and half the league had nothing to play for. Franchising only works if 80-90% of teams are operating at a similar level, like the NRL.
There's no reason we can't have P&R but with criteria in place too; obviously finishing top/winning the playoffs, mandatory Academies, Reserves, Foundations, and x stadium capacity. Revenue & attendances are too hard to judge, as promotion would see both increase.
I'd also put central funding restrictions in place for clubs which don't operate Ladies, PDRL, LDRL & Wheelchair RL teams.
