| Someone won the challenge cup? That's interesting. Can we get back on with the league now please?
On a lighter note....any replacement lyric suggestions?

Old Faithful, we're gonna blame Kurt Gidley
Old Faithful, how did he miss that pent'ly?
Did many Rovers fans really care, or did they sing it more because they thought Hull fans did?
If winning it there makes it sweeter for them that's neither here nor there to me.
What's embittering is me is their power, structure, tenacity, and, more than that, our relative lack thereof.

30596_1286642206.jpg If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

Yep, congratulations to them. The only thing we should be angry about is that they are better than us.
I'll be honest, my Mum was over at Secret Lair v.2 today and after I had made her and Mr. David (current husband) an amazing lunch we tuned in to watch a little of the game. My Mum is from West Hull... There, I've said it. I don't feel good. I feel dirty.
She cheered for Hull at one point today, I had to remind her where her car was parked and that she was free to leave at any time.

He meant bitter old rover49 opened the topic to read it.
It would seem a little hypocritical to not have a discussion on Hull FC's latest Challenge Cup win when you had a forty page thread on our last final and have been singing about our Wembley record for decades.
Great game, very good advertisement for the sport. Hull just refused to lose which is a mentality we have picked up this season. Houghton's tackle at the end was immense.
Hope the more sporting of you enjoyed the game.

Kills me to say it but well done sneyds 40/20 was the game changer without that I think warrington might have held on and on a side note after that brutal game might be worth a double on both teams getting beat next week

Don't think you'll get decent odds on that TBH. Moe or less a given.

| Must be a killer for the chairman...supporter and then involved for 40+ years and shown how to run a Rugby League club by a failed football man...
Should have given Motu that job Neil...

That and it coincided with Gidley going off. The real game changer was Ellis coming back on. Hull looked out of it until his reintroduction. Well done to them, either team could've won it but Hull just edged it in the final quarter.
Will be interesting to see if they can kick again on or sigh a breath of relief and drop off a bit.
