| Nout more frustrating, getting beaten by Huddersfield. A boring club, no fans, no atmosphere. They’re the club I wanted to see go down but that’s not gonna happen now.

| Quote: Noel Cleal "Saints play Leeds the week before the cup final, however it is the Thursday match. So it could be double bad news for you lot.
As a saints fan, I agree with taking the semi seriously. Last year we had a hard game against Warrington the week before. If we had rested players then we would have been accused of giving Cats too much respect. With our record in Semis we need to be 100% focused on beating Halifax.
On a side note the side we are likely to play could still beat London. Committed youngsters are better than old men with one eye on the week after.'"
Saints need to look after the best interests of Saints, i’ve no problem with that.
The committed youngsters thing is a mitigating argument though (at best), a forlorn hope to cling as we’re battered by the crosswinds of another team’s pursuit of silverware. Don’t tell us it is good news for us - we deserve better than that!

From a Broncos perspective I completely agree. Hopefully by the time we play Giants below us both.

You're hardly bringing them into the social club and how many times have you as the home outnumbered the away team. Good luck in winning the 3 games to pass us

| Re.the Huddersfield game..No complaints, the best team on the day won. We looked flat and were out enthused which should not have happened. The four missing from the Leeds game certainly didn,t help, the two Warrington boys(bad call but unfortunately within the rules, but it stinks)Parcell and Linnett early on had to make a difference.A small squad biting us again, will they ever learn? Now back in the poop. Not confident now re. Castleford,Wigan or Catalan games. Absolutely must beat Wakefield, London and Salford. The joys of being a Rovers supporter, but annoyingly this team has it in them to win but just are not doing it enough.Do they have the belief? Lets hope so, if they can beat Warrington,Dull FC,Leeds etc, they are capable, but no second chances from now on.It,s do or die time whatever TS may say in the media. They are my team and I will support them, but they are bloody annoying!
Can we recall Lannon?, can,t remember if we sold him or loaned him, but if we loaned him and could get him back at least it would be another player to help the squad.

Well I looked at today’s Saints team and thought that’s not right when in fairness they are playing Halifax in the semi... not a tough task no offence to Halifax.
But having read this come on Laaandon cos if there’s one thing I won’t miss it is coming to New Craven Park a place that’s bizarrely worse than the original one....
You couldn’t even beat a team with a back line full of our academy kids don’t say so much for them there ‘Robins’

| Well Id rather noone went down super league is very exciting this year, even more so after today, but god the qualitity is dreadful, us vs giants was awful quality as have so many of the games I've seen this year(and I don't just mean our games) I have a feeling we're going down and I honestly won't miss super league as it stands. I fear the game is in free fall so many poor teams, relegation as a treat means teams make short term choices, we should have stuck with licensing but made teams meet strict criteria to stay in, reserves, support of local amateur game, academies, facilities, business proitabilityand yes performances on the field. I clearly don't have the answers but the game is dying in the UK

Relegation is fair enough but on a level playing field. London 32-12 St Helens is not a result that would have happened had Saints sent half a team down there.
4/6 the bottom team has taken from the runaway leaders who have beaten and hammered most out of sight.
Anyone defending Saints is mad... yeah rest a few but 1-5 of the Championship would likely have beaten that team today... Rugby League just doesn’t get it....

| Wire fan in peace. Saints have now distorted the relegation battle by fielding a vastly weakened team. They should be heavily fined or deducted points for that. Not that anything will happen as they can do what they want at the moment. I refused to renew my season ticket this season because I was bored with the standard of rugby overall. I sometimes can't even be bothered watching all the games on Sky in case I fall asleep.
