Since he's never been a head coach i don't know what he is like with game plans, but he is great at developing young players.
Most of the Manly side who will play the grandfinal next week played under him as juniors, and his work with the young guys at the Knights has been outstanding.
His uni degree is not in sports related field, but he is a well known sports science nerd who loves all that stuff. |

Had no idea Sandercock was in the running for the Hull KR job. No head coach experience which makes him a risk, but I've only heard very, very good things about him. Expected him to be a wanted man in a year or two, so KR might have just pulled off a master-stroke coming in for him under the radar.
