Another great effort from Rhys the try scoring machine, I'd be tempted to put Paterson at 13 when he comes back & leave Rhys on the left edge. Big rap for Jordan Cox as well, thought he revved us up just when it was needed.'"
Yep, it is a really important result - a loss today and with the fixtures we have left, it looked a big ask to make the play-offs. Now we've still got a decent shot, as well as a bit of confidence hopefully.

| Although he did nothing outstanding today, I think travis burns played well and it is there for all to see how vocal he is and helping the players around him. It wasnt a very good game though but 2 points is what we deserved and it was good to see greg eden have a solid game looked good under the high ball

30596_1286642206.jpg If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

| I've been very critical of Eden so it's only fair to say well done to the lad yesterday.
Took numerous high balls under pressure and made only one half mistake, best game in a Rovers shirt and made an excellent one on one tackle to nullify a line break.
After playing all over the park and always putting his had up to do so, Lovegrove has now done enough to call that left side second row spot his own, thoroughly deserved.
Bit of a poor game over all but we got a very impotant win.

| Got to agree with Sandra. For me Lovegrove and Dobson have been the two most important and consistent players for you for quite some time. If the rest of them could perform to the same level regularly then you would be much higher up the table.

| Was a pretty poor game and I though when Bradford went 12 - 4 up that that was the game gone. We looked pretty clueless in attack, lacking ideas and a pitiful speed of play the ball. Bradford (with the exception of Walker) looked equally as poor but were edging us out purely by having a speed at the ruck.
We certainly picked up a bit of pace and a couple of 'bounces of the ball' went for us and we edged it. Probably a good sign playing poorly and winning but we need to up it a hell of a lot on Friday to even compete.
One note on the ref, he epitomises the poor standard we seem to have now in SL, so inconsistent in allowing lying on and not officiating offsides. Looked like a rabbit in headlights most of the game.

Dobson (imo) has been consistently poor compared to previous seasons and if he's not careful his career could stagnate into nothing. General field kicking/grubber kicks/goal kicking/ball in hand execution, way down compared to what we saw in his first few seasons. He's still our most important player don't get me wrong, but he's nowhere near performing at the standard I think he's capable of.
