On there performance I’d only take junior sau that would be a good pair of centres the 2 juniors

I've only watched the first half so far, but we outclassed them across the park in that time. It's always difficult to judge, and they were missing some important players - but it looked to me that it was [imore[/i us being good than them being rubbish. Following on from stuffing a Hudds team who have been in good form, it looks promising. Lui and Lannon didn't especially stand out in a negative or positive way from the rest of the Salford team, imo. Something that does impress about Lui - he always looks to have time on the ball. Atkin, McGuire and Quinlan were electric though.

possibly,, lui always looks a handful and tried hard but salfords forwards were ineffective including josh jones a reputed fc target,lui tried to do everthing attacking wise but in that heat he must have been cream crackered long before time

Lui didn't look interested imo. Salford look doomed, shame really. Marwan's millions can't save them now.

Remember walking away from a magic weekend game just after Mar came on board and a group of Salford fans were giving it large about being able to buy the league and years of dominance. It did look that way initially but they are now back in the cack.As always it's the long time fans who suffer.But there is more than enough talent in that squad to stay up. It's just the body language of the players was poor once a few score behind.Not a happy bunch

I really don't understand why people rave about Lui.

Bit of x factor type.Always seems to show up well on televised games.Lots of skill,mixes run and kick plays.Bit of Kelly about him I think? Like all halfs he needs to be behind a pack going forward then even an average half with a decent kicking game can win a Lance Todd trophy or 2

Lui had zero chance to shine on Sunday, pack was dominated, and people like mccarthy and flanagan running lines. Then bombed to fullback. That shorrocks on loan from wigan although young looks way off, they need a couple of fresh faces i think or they could be in trouble. Already turned over by Leigh this year and look how well that did for us psychologically beating a SL team, or to leigh in getting beat by one in the CC

Junior Sau does look a class act though. Also that Jake Bibby tackle on scruton should win tackle of the season, great effort fella
