'when my life is over, the thing which will have given me greatest pride is that I was first to plunge into the sea, swimming freely underwater without any connection to the terrestrial world'
Yves Le Prieur, the real inventor of the aqualung: |

| I am not that bothered about him going, he has shown his talent so rarely for us he adds nothing to the squad that a number of our kids will. He will no doubt show his skills for a while at FC and then his head will blow and he will be relegated to the 2nd string and move on. I honestly believe that a 100% committed Watts would be a regular in the England squad, but his nature is to be around 35% committed to RL and he will end up being a wasted talent. If they had signed Taylor, I would be livid.

| Watts is a talented player who's lost his way a bit. What disappoints the most is that faced with a choice between knuckling down & forcing his way back into the team & asking for a release he took the easy option. He probably has more ability that Netherton, Murrell, Lovegrove etc but they all seem to be prepared to work harder. That's what a coach wants to to see. If Hull can get Watts back on track good luck to them.

Agreed. He could, I think, be as good as Sam Burgess if only he had the work ethic to match his natural talent.

| Merged - in response to the suggestion (tic, one assumes) that Hull paid Rovers £45k for LW
if thats true, and i say if, thats a cracking deal for rovers, he has massive potential but after his first season rarely looked like being the player he could be. ability and potential ability are two different things. didn't look like fulfilling potential and has had a couple of misdemeanors. probably best from our point of view to take a few bob and let him move on. i would have thought 10 - 20k max. but undisclosed is undisclosed, if hull get the best out of him, in all fairness probably a few bob well spent on their part too

[quote="The Reason":3e09qe5x]Hi Andy
The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

AP wouldn't give cash but instead has organised hkr's coach to away games for the rest of the season.

Nice one.
6 of my friends had been to the game, came back to my local and said he was nothing other than average. No offloads they could remember and pretty slow hitting the ball up, suppose he adds size. The did say Heremai(sp)had a fantastic second spell.
