It's all about the result. The winning set of fans won't give a fig if the losing side had injuries. If we can match em up front then we have a decent chance .

Yeaman possibly playing doesn't fill me with any trepidation but yes if FC win and he scored it wouldn't be pleasant.Connor has replaced him as public enemy No.1 .With Jewitt missing for us I can't see any of our lads getting up your noses as our pack are about as niggly as the Chuckle brothers? McGuire not playing also takes away your panto villian. I expect Taylor to go head hunting and Connor to be a pain.To be frank I don't know what to expect from that Rovers squad?

Personally I always liked Clint Newton,he always tried to wind us fans up, but its all part of the game. I have always rated McGuire t.b.h.

You'll likely have a stronger team than the one that pished Wigan last week whereas we'll have a much weaker one than that which lost to less cats a couple of weeks back. Rovers strong favourites

I think our lack of quality in the 3/4s will be our undoing. I said before the season started I thought you'd win one of the derbies and I reckon this will be it.

Don't think Danny Mags is much of a miss IMO. Honestly think the times I've seen young Harris play he'd do just as well (On less cash) as Maguire. All in all I think we might just scrape the win.

Walne and Johnson need to step up on Sunday. Mulhern and Jewitt are a big miss for us. Opportunities for a few lads to come out of the shadows and show they deserve a starting spot

I'm aware he's signed for hull des. I'm saying I personally would have kept Harris and given him the chance. Cause lets face it if he can get in hulls side he'd be good enough for us

He's only in our side because 4 of the 5 half backs in front of him are injured

We know you lot have some injuries Jake, we have some backs missing as well, McGuire, Carney, Heffernan, Minns, not counting lots of our first choice pack.
I for one am getting sick of our bad luck with injuries which is just getting ridiculous and seemingly never ending and
seriously hampering our chances in our matches.We seriously are short on good news.
I honestly cannot remember when we had a fully fit first choice team on the pitch., and am of the opinion we will almost certainly be in the middle eights and with that in mind would wrap our first choice players in cotton wool and keep them back to ensure they are ok when we really need them.
I think that if, and it,s a big if, we can field our strongest side in the eights, we would be ok.
That,s all that matters this season.
My big concern is that our key personnel/pivots are missing at the crucial time.
Hope our management team have thought this through.
Anyway, on to the Derby.
Just hope we win.

How come we dont just get little niggly injuries? We only get 2 or 3 monthers, even our 1 week head knocks lasted over 5 weeks. Is it just bad luck (probably) or is it a conditioning problem?
