It took Rovers 20 mins to get into the game. As soon as they stopped chasing the second receiver in defence the gaps stopped appearing. The missed tackles were more down to Rovers defensive structure than technical ability of Newton. |

Hull and Wigan were both in for Dobson mid season originally. Noble was quoted as saying Wigan offered Dobson a chocolate bar and Rovers offered him "the whole factory". Neither Hull nor Wigan had enough room under the cap to accomodate Dobson's wage demands. Rovers did, and he's turned out to be an astute signing. FWIW he would have been a waste of money at Hull as our pack is steamrollered every week.
