That would seem unfair given that Hull's Wembley appearance has relevance to the derby in that the squad are playing for places (or alternatively their minds might be on the final rather than the derby). Not to mention the fact that most of the songs sung tomorrow by the two sets of fans will be Wembley related.

On the other hand it is 2 weeks away and not, unfortunately, of any direct concern to us. There is some relevance - an eagerness to avoid injuries or cement spots etc. Peter Gentle's suit and other shoehorned, 'any excuses' type stuff can wait.

Game day. Regardless of it being derby day it's been 4 weeks since we last played at home. Add to the fact that it IS a derby. Bring it on!!!

I always loved Derby Day form the Christmas/New Year and Easter matches of the 70's and 80's, almost always close matches and its rare for either Hull or Rovers to win more then 2 Derbies in a row and how many times has the form team lost over the years. I do think that there are too many Derbies nowadays. When we inevitably meet in the playoffs that could be 5 this year!

As for today's match, both teams have been in decent form recently, a tough one to call but hopefully home advantage will just tip it in Rovers favour. RRTR.

Burns' first derby, could go either way. Against Huddersfield his tenacity and aggression really wound up Brough and Crabtree to the point where they were ineffective, it could work against Hull or he could be in the bin for 10 mins.
