i agree, although i rate fisher if you look 1 to 13 it is our weakest position. which can only be a good thing really when you look at the fact that fisher isn't cac.

I don't think the problem is Fisher's quality. I think we are short of a another player who can play 7 and 9 in SL. That also, of course, isn't a reflection on Dobson, more that if he or Fisher gets injured we don't have a specialist replacement. No disrespect to Spaven either, but he has never played SL (yet).

Lee can play 9, but probably isn't considered a SH anymore. I'd wonder why we let Kirk Netherton go if we ended up signing Lee. Matty Smith has looked okay, without being amazing, on the handful of occaisions I've seen him.

I quite like Diskin and felt he was unlucky to miss out on the WC, considering just about every other English Leeds player who was regularly in their 17 got to go. Can't quite believe Leeds would want to let him go or that he'd kb a testimonial, though.
