Equally if we win 'em both, we'd have won 5 from and 7, one of them a derby and it'll all seem moderately rosy. There's no doubt that even making allowances for the fact that nobody is pretending this a team of worldbeaters, we're a couple of points down on where I'd hoped to be, but it hasn't been catastrophic.

Watching the Salford game was traumatic, but the team showed some resilience to recover. Today was a setback and I doubt it'll be the last, but as long we see some progress too, even if it is uneven and patchy (and it is), I think we're better sticking with it. It was never meant to be a quick fix.

ive been banging on for 3 seasons about welham jumping out of the line leaving his winger exposed ans he is still doing it and as for mika lets just get rid lazy makes the same errors every game we wont miss his 2 5minute stints

Welham's defence out wide was laughable at times, a bit like Lovegroves down the middle, like you say experienced players who should be standing up and leading.

Burns created and did nothing to add to the performace along with Paterson, all in all our big name players failed to produce.

Of course he can. He can train them to improve line speed and tidy up the ruck, that cuts out penalties. He can install discipline so we don't dissent. He can do all this and more, but he won't.

So do you think Sandercock has changed his approach in how he trains them in this aspect since the Warrington game?

It was a disapointing result & as always I wait a day before comenting on the game. 1st point give Bradford credit for a good effort. Some of our players had an off day & got what they deserved but they are no worse than a lot of other sides. I have seen 5 games this weekend & off those two other teams Canberra & South Sydney were equaly as bad as Rovers unforced errors & high penalty counts against, Canberra got stuffed Souths scraped a win. I just think it is the nature of the modern game. I am not to worried I would stick with Sandercock let him do what he was brought in to do, that is put in place structures that will last & provide local players comming through our youth structure. We should take of our red tinted glasses & look at the rest of the game we are not that much diferent to a lot of other clubs.
