We've been hearing about your solitary triumph for 36 years.
Who'd have thought a couple of years ago that the next two cup finals would see Rovers get a 50-0 record thrashing, and then Hull FC laying their Wembley hoodoo to rest in one of the best finals in modern era.

Much as you'd like to think it hurts, it doesn't, why do you think whatever Hull FC does affect me as a Rovers supporter, the only time it bothers me is when we play them, I don't care if you win the treble or all die of Botulism, I will carry on with my life just the same. |

I turned it on from about fifty minutes, I'd got my Mum over for lunch and turned it on to see what was going on.
My Mum's from West Hull, but my grandad played RU, she only started going to the Rugby in the early eighties when we went as a family to Rover's because we'd moved from West Yorkshire to Aldbrough.
At one point she cheered when Hull did something good, I had to remind her that her car was parked just outside and she was free to leave at anytime with anymore of that behaviour.
If my Mum hadn't been at my house and therefore an obvious West Hull foil, I'd probably have been a bit more comfortable with Hull's victory.
If I'm honest, I am actually pleased for them and their fans, they deserved it, but then, I don't live in the city.
