Quote: fc-eaststander "Brisco wanted to stay in the end but hull would not put their original offer back n the table after his NRL move fell through Josh left because we offered him peanuts and wanted him to play back row, we will have to be carful with Bowden he has refused to sign a new deal also ben crooks has not signed an extended deal either the trouble is both clubs expect local lads to play for pennies when the out of towners and overseas players are on big bucks something that I think we are trying to fix ie McDonnell, Holdsworth big earners gone'"
Is the Briscoe thing true or is it just an urban myth that FC fans created to appease themselves that they were losing one of their best players. If you listen to his interview on sky he states how he’d gone stale and had to move to challenge himself. Looking at his early Leeds performances that seems to have worked aswell.
