Quote: Rupert Pupkin "After the ball has been kicked into touch after a penalty has been awarded, when a player is taking a tap and there are two balls on the field at the same time, is it not procedure to stop the game and remove the second ball before play can continue?
It happened yesterday and Hudds went on to score off that set from what I remember.'"
Annoyed me that. I think some of our players half expected the whistle too - still, the adage of playing to the whistle n all that.
They scored from the resulting penalty when Latus stupidly ran behind Murrell - I'm not sure the two ball incident was from that tap restart or the Con Mika pen tap restart.
Another decision that I really didn't agree with, was when (Lawrence?) broke a tackle and no way was he tackled, got up to continue (Watts or someone) then tackled him, Ganson then blew for Hudds penalty.
Overall, we didn't get the rub of the green, but most of the calls he gave against us appeared justified.
