OLD....It's about time we stopped being "The Pride of East Hull" and grew up!! ffs there's a whole big city and county out there..we need to stop being defined by a city boundary and a mucky river

We have to be careful - we aren't Hull KR, if you know what I mean. Not in any official sense. We shouldn't really/technically have the badge in the current one.




What would you choose, if choice there was?

I've not given it much though before, but club colours are very popular - sang et or; claret and gold; black and whites; cherry and whites; red, white and blues; red, amber and black.

Red and White? Bit dull. Blood and Snow? Bit contrived and doesn't work for a summer sport.
The Robins?

The 'pride of east hull' was added as it was part of the forum link and an apparent unofficial website which no longer seems to work.

If we changed to, say, "The red red robin", can admin change our forum link to "Hull KR - The Red Red Robin"? I know they can, but would they?

How about: "Red red robins, every other week and then we'll mostly appear in blue apart from the odd mad season when we'll be in orange grey and occasionally a bit of green."

Now that's catchy.

Should work for Saatchi and Saatchi me, then I could knock about with Nigella and her massive cup cakes.

There might be some news on a subsite, in the not too distant. I don't see any technical reason why we couldn't change the name, if it was widely thought to be a good idea. 'Technical reason' - like I'm any use for anything more than picking out the curtains.

I like 'Live, Love, Laugh and Be Happy' a lot, really good positive vibe.

Getting there, I'm not fond of the font for "The Robins" and I hate Roofs, grown men standing clapping and cheering someone in a contrived Disney costume? In East Hull? Give me strength.
