Rooney is most definately good enough for Super League. There has been talk of him signing a permanent contract at the end of the season- what a signing that would be in the long term. I think with obst being at wakefield aswell as other talent backs, it is very hard for rooney to picture himself going back there and walking back into the team. At barrow he is given first team action every week and the freedom to play his game. With des behind the wheel at barrow, i have no doubt he will be getting as good a pay as he would have been recieving at wakey. However, i dont think money is a factor right now. Barrow have a bright future, and are creating an even brighter one for jamie

do me a FAVOUR the only people who are loyal in RL is the speccies players go where the money is, wouldnt be surprised if you lot announce the signing of Dave Allen, he was due to sign for Leigh but the 'megga - wonga' on offer at Barrow was too much to turn down
It's a professional sport.
Players play for MONEY. And of course an employer who offers more money has a better chance of acquiring a person's services.
