[iChampionship One club Oldham have appointed former Salford, Bradford and England centre Scott Naylor as their new head coach on a two-year contract.
The 40-year-old was chosen on the recommendation of his former Salford boss Shaun McRae to succeed Tony Benson, who was sacked last month and was this week appointed coach of newcomers Oxford.
Naylor has been coaching Leigh rugby union team since parting company with Salford, where he was an assistant to McRae, in 2009.

Just popped on to wish Scott all the best. As the best defensive centre I've seen at Bradford I have to say if he's half as good a coach as he was a player, he'll be a great success.
