Blackpool panthers Number one full back jonny leather,Paul ballard and adam Thomas are out injured for the season and beyond, I am collecting funds to help them and thier families out at this tough time as the insurance the team had was found to be flawed. Have you tried the rfl benevolent fund?

What exactly do you mean, "flawed" insurance? You mean the players have been playing unknowingly without any valid cover?

Do players take out their own policies at this level or is it down to clubs to provide cover?

To be honest i didnt really ask and not sure who has or needs the insurance.Presume with a contracted player the club would need insurance to cover the player incase of injury and having to still pay the player. With all players recently released from contracts maybe something to do with it??? Just guessing here though

Seems a Bit daft, I'm not saying you're lying but surely Insurance is a standard requirement for clubs at this level? I'm 99% sure you have to have insurance to play amateur rugby so you think semipro would be stricter?

How is it flawed? Have the club not paid their premiums?
