| Good win yesterday thanks to a good 2nd half performance.
MCs half time talks seem to work wonders
keep it up and 4th place in the league is possible, and then you never know
Lets see a big win on saturday against the skolars which will make it 4 on the bounce

| With the confidence in the team and an alright looking run in who knows what could happen.
Looking at the fixture list howsabout 4 wins, a loss but by less than 12 to Oldham and rest the key players for the last game against Dewsbury and then it's playoff time.
Hoping the playoff final isn't when I'm in Portugal

| Aim higher - the money's run out at Oldham (again!) so the wheels will start dropping off there soon, that's a game we can win. Dewsbury, if they are still going for a 100% season will be a tough nut to crack, but if they've lost the 100% record and still won the title they'll be in demob mode, so could be picked off as well.
Who knows what could happen? Whatever, just enjoy the ride, it's great

| showing some form at present. if we can keep this team together for rest of season I can see us doing well, although you would imagine we would fall short in the later stages of the playoffs.
I did a bit of scribbling yesterday with the remaining matches left for 2-6 (presumed Dewsbury are finishing top). If results go as you would imagine then we will still finish as we are now. However, as people have said Oldham are falling apart internally and York are in transision since March went. We could sneak into 4th and lets hope that Dewsbury don't give a stuff come our game and that Oldham fall to pieces by our home game with them.
Another interesting point will be to see if we can keep hold of this squad next season as i'm sure other clubs will have noticed munro, forber and the 2 widnes lads form.

| It would also be a bonus to see the Blackpool public take notice of the panthers winning ways and start supporting the team in numbers and then the club might be able to hold onto the whole squad.

| Ain't that the truth!!
Then again as an example of the excellent advertising for the games there are 2 prominent signs advertising the next match outside Bloomfield Social and St Annes Road WMC both of which show next game Cougars on 24th May.
I live just round the corner but have no idea who is supposed to keep these up to date. Is it the venue or someone from the clubs?

| Crowds have definitely risen this year following last years vast improvements and of course all the more so this year, I think a lot of credit has to go to Nick Settle, youth development officer as he has worked tirelessly getting kids involved, although there are the 2 local amateur clubs he has worked very hard promoting the game getting kids interested and coming to watch, bringing parents with them to see our great game. I think this is highlighted by the fact we had nearly 400 for the skolars game on sunday considering we had less than 200 only a year ago for the same fixture, so certainly things have improved and will only continue to do so, who knows maybe even promotion isn't beyond us, there is no-one we cannot beat in this league, even Dewsbury on our day albeit they are a class above, we did turn them over in the 9s, we pushed them all the way in the league and I think if we get a big crowd and the fans get behind them panthers can turn them over, this week there is Hunslet who we ahve already beat this year, oldham have lost 5 quality players to Barrow this week so will be understrenghtened. If we continue our form to the playoffs it will stand us in good stead as we can beat the other sides in the top 7 who will be in the playoffs- keighley, oldham, york, swinton and hunslet, roll on the playoffs, maybe there is more silverware to come this year

| the skolars game was 'ladies day', i think this had an impact on the crowd, but this isn't a criticism as it was a good initiative from the club

| How are the widnes boys playing?I was gutted to see our loan signings in pickersgill and penney go back.If they do not come back this year i hope they keep playing well and help you win games.Next year we will need our youngsters playing for us so we can get a franchise.Anyway if come back maybe you can loan some other youngsters from our youth development.Good luck anyway.

| dean thompson has been playing really well. sunday against oldham was his first quiet game that i've seen (only see home games) and even then he didn't really do anything wrong.
think the other player we had has, was it josh simm? a 2nd rower, has returned to widnes as his squad number has gone to sam reay
