Well done Panthers you made hard work of it but 3 points in the end. icon_lol.gif

Thought the reaction of some of the so called Hunslet supporters to there players at the end was disgusting, fans verbally abusing players is not on

These so called supporters i bet have never played the game and thats what gets me everyone who goes out and plays Rugby league no matter what the result dont lose on purpose and they put their bodies on the line week after week for little reward really.

Fair enough you pay to watch and are entitled to an opinion but for what i witnessed today was disgusting. icon_eek.gif

Felt a bit sorry for the few players from Hunslet that took the flak and credit to them for not getting into a situation that could have got out of hand. icon_rolleyes.gif

Hard Luck Hunslet and well done to MCs Boys keep it up

Some pretty brainless characters around yesterday, I'd be embarrassed if I were a Hunslet Official.

Some of the abuse, both of their own players and the officials was moronic to say the least.

Sure, Panthers didn't play well, especially in the first half, but no team has some divine right to win and it was the Huns own mistakes and lack of discipline that cost them. We don't always get what we deserve, get over it.

Both sides have a lot of new faces and that contributed to the disjointedness of the game at times.

For goodness sakes either get a sense of perspective or drink less, either way it'll probably help your case icon_wink.gif

yeah some not very nice fans were present from hunslet. stood close to h/w line and they were having a pop at their own team from about 15 mins into the first half and then they turned on the officials in the second half. there abuse to the touch judge on the non-seated side was boarding on being too personal towards him. every second word the fans around us said was an expletive- luckily there weren't too many kids around.

my mate made a comment on the back of them collectively whinging about a penalty that was given against them, and was abused by about 3 of their fans. alot of their fans also really didn't seem to know the rules.

last year they were pretty boisterous but didn't seem to be as aggressive and foul mouthed- seems to be something in the water with fans from the leeds area after the queens incident in the chal cup.

the ref wasn't great, but then are there actually any good refs out there anymore...

I personally felt that both side's defence was absolutely dire in the first half, no-one could tackle, and what's more disciplin was terrible. Both things picked up in the second half on the panthers side of things and did well to get the win.

This being said I was very impressed with the attacking play on show from blackpool, now if they only get the defence sorted we could see a serious challenge for the playoffs.

Just a few points i have spotted, our wing seems to be weak area in the defense - players not maintaining their area to defend or something - opposition teams have scored here numerous times now
Heard a few players telling team "discipline lads" think it was Draper + cant remember other sorry
Last thing i would like to say is that i hunslet fan who was stood next to me + my sister was a really top lad, who was also not impressed by the fans who were abusive etc which is why he wasnt stood by them
p.s. If ur reading this i hope u rang ur mum or my sister will be havin words with u icon_thumb.gif
