Crowds have definitely risen this year following last years vast improvements and of course all the more so this year, I think a lot of credit has to go to Nick Settle, youth development officer as he has worked tirelessly getting kids involved, although there are the 2 local amateur clubs he has worked very hard promoting the game getting kids interested and coming to watch, bringing parents with them to see our great game. I think this is highlighted by the fact we had nearly 400 for the skolars game on sunday considering we had less than 200 only a year ago for the same fixture, so certainly things have improved and will only continue to do so, who knows maybe even promotion isn't beyond us, there is no-one we cannot beat in this league, even Dewsbury on our day albeit they are a class above, we did turn them over in the 9s, we pushed them all the way in the league and I think if we get a big crowd and the fans get behind them panthers can turn them over, this week there is Hunslet who we ahve already beat this year, oldham have lost 5 quality players to Barrow this week so will be understrenghtened. If we continue our form to the playoffs it will stand us in good stead as we can beat the other sides in the top 7 who will be in the playoffs- keighley, oldham, york, swinton and hunslet, roll on the playoffs, maybe there is more silverware to come this year
