Boas received a one match penalty for a late hit against the Midlands, I presume this rules him out of the Workington game.

Do we know what happened to Brett Ferres? I've had a look on the RFL disciplinary page but the charge isn't listed.

Just had a look at Workington's recent results (most recent at the top):

Cornwall 16, Worky 34
N Wales 24, Worky 32
Worky 40, Rochdale 12
Worky 60, Midlands 10
Worky 34, London 6

Hunslet 22, Worky 18
Worky 18, Oldham 28
Dons 46, Worky 6

The games they've been winning lately have been against the lesser lights but the 60-10 win over Midlands shows the stark contrast between their form and ours. They only lost by four at Hunslet. Worky looked awful when they play at our place. No doubt they'll want to get revenge on Sunday.

Sunday is a pivotal game for both sides. If we lose, we might be looking at fourth or fifth. If we win, a top three finish could be back on the cards.

I fear the worse (nothing new) if he cant get a reaction of some sorts then it opens up the whole debate again.

I'm sure there'll plenty of changes to the starting 13.

I wonder why Boas is listed in the squad? Does his suspension not come into effect until next weekend?

The RFL disciplinary page doesn't say when the ban applies. I don't think they usually hear the League One cases until the following week but with there not being any Super League games last weekend, they've heard them earlier. Perhaps to keep the bans consistent to when the offence took place, they stick with suspensions being two weeks after the League One game was played.

Maybe Ross Whitmore or Dave Petersen will step in for Boas next week?

I'll have a go at predicting the handicap ... I think the Dons will get a small start, so I'll go Dons +4 ... let's see what tomorrow morning brings ...
