I'm honestly not thinking about the rugby side of this. I'm certain he's still more than capable. He undermines everything else we should represent.

I think this could be a really decent move. I’m sure I read somewhere that he is operating a strength and conditioning business so will be in decent shape. What he might lack now in a yard of pace - age catches up with us all - and initial match fitness he will more than make up for with his experience.

That's certainly a shock signing .

We need someone to help get our defence organised - he could do a good job. He certainly won't be lacking in effort and commitment. He always gives 100%.

Let's hope he's up to to it physically at his age.

I agree with this DM, we have been sadly lacking in that area, if he can bring his experience to the table it should help.

Forget Bens twitter ramblings and his act of stupidity in a taxi 10 years ago (which some FC fans still think he should be booted out of sport for) he's a great player and motivator, offers plenty of experience at the top level and has recently (before getting sacked) done some great coaching with the KR junior set up. if he's your full back he will definitely improve the defence and will offer something new in attack. Plus looking at his Instagram he's in superb shape. At least let him prove himself on the field before condemning him for his anti-vax/covid nonsense (for the record I'm no anti vaxer I've had both my jabs and don't agree with any of Bens posts/ramblings on the subject)
