I suspect the cost of continued testing will put many sides off. It would make more sense if central funding covered testing costs, even if that meant lower prize money for the competition.
Until the government commits to allowing crowds back, I don't see many clubs wanting to get involved as games behind closed doors are not ecomonically viable.

My hunch, for what it’s worth, is that we’ll be entered, given Carl’s position with the RL.
Whether there will be enough interest from other clubs to make it viable remains to be seen.
As for the supporters, it will either be a case of ‘any rugby is better than no rugby, let’s give it a go’ or ‘it’s pretty meaningless, I’ll wait for next season’.
Still got to make my mind up.

Not sure about that.
Club Doncaster may & will have a say due to the financial implications .
It will be interesting to see which clubs sign up. They will be extra costs I assume with testing pre tournament. May be better just pay the relavent % of furlough money , if applicable.

Personally, I would be happy for the Club to give it a miss and begin preparations for next season. Financially, it just doesn't seem viable.

Having seen comments from other clubs and decisions not to participate, it seems to be becoming a bit of a waste of time & expense.
Agree with Wanderer. Let’s look forward to 2021.
