2018 Finished 4th in the League
Played 29 Won 22 Lost 7. 24% of League fixtures lost

2019 Finished 4th in the League
Played 20 Won 12 Lost 8. 40% of League fixtures lost

The team is supposed to improve not standstill was this in the five year plan?

the facts / figures dont lie !!! which is why the majority of fans have given up on this set up.. something really really special needs to happens (major signings) between now and the start of next season,,, as I said in a previous post you could not give me a season ticket for next year ,,, never mind sell me one. Here,s hoping for a brighter future.

Jack Logan not good enough?

I share you concerns that a large number of fans feel disappointed at the club's lack of progress in recent years.

I made the club aware of this at the recent Fans Panel Meeting (although not minuted).

Carl asked what the club has got to do to win fans round? I said the club needs to make a statement of intent for 2020 by signing players of sufficient quality to make everyone believe we can get promoted next season.

I am extemely concerned by the potential drop-off in season ticket sales due to our not getting promoted but I hope my fears are unfounded in that the club will make enough good quality signings to persuade fans to be part of the club in 2020.

We all want the club to be successful. It's going to be much harder to be successful (both now and in the longer-term) if attendances fall so I sincerely hope all fans will stick by the club.

Weve had names at the dons over the years recently as ritchie barnett, richard owen, ryan boyle not quite cut it have they? Why give a beswick kind of guy a last pay day when we can have logan, carter and smeaton

Logan if he stays as fit and in shape as when a full time pro will be good

Sam will give 110% iv played with and against him hes played in good championship teams

Carter appears to have only played a few games for York this season however on their forum their fans seem sad to see him go

Newcastle must have had the leagues largest budget last season by a country mile ,and they still couldn't make it out of league 1.

Jason Payne was given cart blanche to get the players needed to get Newcastle in to the championship and spent heavily on the likes of Liam Finn, Misi Talipapa and Keal Carlise , however early loses lead to his termination.

This only goes to show money is not the be all and end all , Whitehaven and Oldham played basic rugby with no high value players with both achieving promotion.
How they will fair in the championship is another matter as budgets I would imagine would be tight.

I'm sure now the DR has ended RH will be looking to recruit a larger squad of players who will buy in to the clubs vision and what they want to achieve.
Logan is quality , as is Smeaton......…...Carter is highly regarded by York fans and if we can keep the likes of Boas , Beharrell and Frankie then I fancy we will be a force to be feared.
