It does sound like that, you'd expect it to say "mutual consent" or similar if it had been a more ammicable split

That used to happen quite regularly, full time sport isn't for everyone, particularly if they can earn more and for longer outside the sport.

It seemed rather strange that he was in our 19-man squad at the weekend but wasn't selected. I wonder if there's a link between this and his release from Hull?

Well he was good in his 3 appearances for the Don's, got MOTM once.
But one less good player available to the Dons in an ever increasing list.

It's looking a very different deal now with Hull than the one we bought into.

Pulled himself out of the squad so its a discipline issue.
Not happy not getting a first team chance when Hulls squad was missing most of the clubs first team front rows.

I don't disagree, Paul, but Danny Langtree is a quality player. He's have been a good signing if we could have got him.

With regards to the backs, I thought Hull's Cameron Scott would be getting some game time with us. He played centre a few times last season and looked good.

Bonaire, do you know what's happening with him? Is he injured? Do you have the latest on the Liam Harris injury? When is he likely to be back? Which of the Hull lads do you think we'll be seeing at the Keepmoat in the coming weeks?

Harris and Scott would certainly add some extra class. If we're not going to sign any more players of our own, I want to see this DR arrangement used to the full.
