I decided not to comment anymore but having listened to this weeks ITD , I must break that promise.I turned it off half way through because I couldn't listen to any more and in a nutshell we are doomed. I conclude that the questions are written in advance for the interviewer to ask with the intention of papering over the cracks.Basically there is nothing wrong with Thornton and we should all go down to Cantley Park to see how good he is. There is no problem with team spirit and we have won 3 and lost 2 games,one of which should be ignored.North Wales had 80 put past them by Wolfpack so that's going to happen to everyone.Are we saying we are no better than North Wales?If we are serious about promotion we should have kept it below 50.I am sick of the weekly crap that comes from Carl and guarantee that if Leeds get 100 there still won't be a problem. The whole situation has now become a joke typified by playing an injured stand off in such a key position and stating we'll manage his situation on a weekly basis.How can a team be serious about promotion when making a statement like that?A replacement should have been signed before the season even started. He did say that if anyone was playing silly buggers and not playing properly for the Dons his instruction was 'get rid'.
He backed the coaches though in the usual predictable manner.

He still somehow seems to believe that the squad is decent ...
But clearly using all parameters it is average.
And as we know average does not get promotion.
I think in private he will realise that this coach and this side are going nowhere.
He's played good rugby himself ... so he can't kid himself.

I thought that was one of the better I T D to be fair.
Pleased to hear the players had a meeting on Tuesday lets hope some good comes from it because I have not enjoyed the rugby on offer this season .

It doesn't matter about getting beat 0-80 on your own patch, it doesn't matter about the defeat against York, the boys and the coach are tearing it up on cantley park!!! I will say it again I really like carl but his guff and no actions politicians speeches are wearing pretty thin with me, his blind loyalty in blaming the players more than thornton is simply embarrassing. For the 2nd year running our journeyman coach has brought in a raft of players who are either crocked, playing in the wrong position or have problems of the field yet all that has been ignored, I'm all for stability in a coach and backing him 100% but doing it when were obviously in decline amazes me.
