Not much change really, will be interesting to see if more 8 point tries are awarded as a result of the clarification. Previously a fould had to be pretty bad to warrant it, think i can only remember 2 in real life and a couple on TV.

The referees don't adhere to the current rules ie.
Rule 12 Item 6 Put In Or Feeding Of The Scrum
Subsections A.B.C.D.

I would of added a new one where you can legally knock over a water carrier! in fact you receive 2 extra points for doing so.

To be fair rule 12.6 a) only says it needs to be put into the tunnel formed by the front row so as long as it goes in front of the leg of nearside prop it is doing thing. The rule doesn't say it needs to go into the centre of the tunnel. And thank god for that or it'd be union style farce

Six Union scrums = half an hour of your life you won't get back. Touch, bind, shove, collapse, repeat.

I've never understood why there is a pause between the ref saying "touch" and "pause" and another between "pause" and "bind"

There were a total of 23 scrums in last nights Leeds v Warrington none of the scrums were contested the team that fed the scrum always won the ball from the scrum what a farce, they have taken away the scrummaging skills of prop forwards & hookers & the art of the scrum half feeding the ball in to the scrum wonder what Tony Fisher would say about this.
