I wonder if he knows something about the takeover, and the club's future, that we don't?

I think that was probably discussed before he commited himself.
It was intimated in RLE that building for next season has already begun. |

Would have been surprised by anything else, he is a young coach learning as he goes,he enjoys it here, and at the knights , so it makes sense. I just wondered whether he would carry on playing.

We will not be able to keep him forever, so each year is a bonus.
We can thank the Knights and Griffiths in a strange way, but anything that keeps him working in Doncaster is a blessing.

Very good news indeed and I sincerely hope that Carl and Gavin were behind this and that perhaps the imminent takeover of the Rovers and the personality that comes with the takeover will not impact onto The Dons as feared.
