The Dons Under 18s play their second home game of the season on Sunday against Dewsbury Celtic .
KO 11 am at Mills Drive, Lindholme off the A614.
Come down and give the lads your support
Turned out with twelve players after a number of drop outs before kick off against West Hull u18s who are the strongest team in the league, then having one player taken off after 15 minutes due to injury played the rest of the game with eleven players.
Beaten 82 -6 but the performance didnt reflect the score. Every player gave what was there best display of the season. I have never been prouder than watching the lads pull together and drive reach other on ,telling the referee they wanted to play the full eighty minutes and not cut the game short. They showed real spirit and commitment in the face of adversity.
We have some real talent in this team that can one day go on and represent the first team, we are still building and will continue to do so. COYD
Thanks. Credit to the lads that turned out, nice to hear they were willing to give it a go. Early days for them, im sure things will get better. Shown some real character .
