Doncaster Rugby League Club is delighted to announce that Adam Scott has re-joined the club for the rest of the 2013 season.
This will be the prop forward's third stint at the club after making his debut back in 2006 when the Dons were known as the Lakers. The 28 year-old spent a full season with the club in 2011 where he made 27 appearances and crossed the whitewash twice against Dewsbury and Rochdale.
Castleford born Scott originally joined Doncaster in 2006 after being with Hull FC's academy set up from 2003 to 2005. He only played a handful of games as the Lakers fell into administration and went on to study a degree in criminology.
Scott played for the Burleigh Bears in Australia during 2008 and also played for Leeds Metropolitan University when studying for his master's degree in 2009 and 2010. Batley captured his signature at the end of the 2011 season and has been with the Bulldogs ever since.
Dons' head coach Tony Miller said: "I'm thrilled Adam's back with the club as he's a quality player who has many attributes to his game.
"He's got a great engine and offload game and has good footwork for a prop forward.
"He'll bring plenty of go forward to the team and I'm really looking forward to working with him again."
Scott added: "I'm really pleased to be back at Doncaster and can't wait to get back on the Keepmoat pitch against York on Sunday.
"I've kept an eye on the Dons' results since I left in 2011 and, to be honest, was jealous of the success they had last season as I wanted to be a part of it.
"Other clubs had come in for me after deciding to leave Batley but I wanted to come back to Doncaster and re-join a great squad of players."
Scott will go straight into Miller's squad for the Dons Kingstone Press Championship game on Sunday against York City Knights at the Keepmoat Stadium (3pm kick-off).
