It's seven years ago today that Kevin Parkhouse was tragically & cruelly taken away from us.

The Parkhouse family are still suffering from the loss, especially Kev's daughter Amanda who's never been able to come to terms with losing her Dad so suddenly.

Rest in peace big man

I had the pleasure of meeting Parky a couple of times. He was an inspirational player on the field and a lovely guy off it.

My thoughts are with all the family on this seventh anniversary.

Time flies.
What a very sad day it was when Kev died and so very very unfortunate.
I met him a time or two in the Yarborough Club.
Six feet across the chest he seemed.
A great bloke.
Sadly missed.
I feel very sad for Amanda.
