| I appreciate this will be open to no end of jokes,
But wanting to bring my 5 month old son to his first game this weekend, and just wondered if anyone knows whether Puschair access is allowed or is indeed worthwhile or is it a case of better just holding him for the full 80 minutes?
Cannot see anything on Keepmoat site about this...
I know 2 bricks against front wheels was enough for me back in the day at Tattersfiled when i was a nipper, but didn't then live in a H&S mad world.
Any feedback appreciated
Cheers

| I can't ever recall seeing a pushchair at the keepmoat (or at any ground for that matter) but I could be wrong?..
Maybe you should bring his own baby seat.. At least he will be comfy bless him and surely they can't have a problem with that, it would be the same as carrying him surely?..

| One of my friends has come with his young baby before, they brought the chair (which they left at the front of the stand) and stood at the back with us with the little one strapped to his front.
He has been told he could sit at the front with the chair...although the view isn't the best I'd suspect.
The disabled viewing points also have chairs and spaces for wheelchairs so presumably these could be used...although I am not sure where they are in our stand

| there is a gate at the side of the turnstyle gates and it should not be a problem as they would look very silly if they stopped you being a community stadium

| Ihavejust been in touch with the club and they say it should not be a problem but they are checking with the stadium management committee and if you do have a problem on matchday you need to go to Main stand reception and ask them to get Karen, as she is fully aware of the situation

That is not the issue.
Getting in is not the issue. That gate is clearly there for wheelchairs....permission has to be sought for wheelchairs....which then go to prearranged slots.
The same does not apply to pushchairs.

| Last season i brought my twin grandchildren to a couple of games, had no problem getting the twin buggy in, i use the big gate/door at the side of the turnstyles and my wife sat at the front with them, but the stewards told me that if we wanted to sit elsewhere with the twins out of the buggy then they would store the buggy for me.
The stewards on them occasions were very helpful and there help was much appreciated.

No.
The stadium will have a policy on pushchairs.
If you look up some big stadia on the web you will find a lot do not allow pushchairs.
The Keepmoat may......but if they don't then someone on a gate cannot allow one in.....much as they may like to.
I have just rung the stadium myself....they will get back to me.
It may be OK if it's folded when inside....she needs to speak to the safety officer.

| The club is sorting it, if 2 many people get involved then it will only complicate things, let them sort it

| They rang back to say that it is OK to take pushchairs in that fold.
You would then just have to check where to put it with a steward.
Whether you could take it to your seat or to a wheelchair bay or the steward's room.
