| I've been impressed with Kyle Trout when I've seen him play on Sky for Wakefield.
He'll certainly add something to our pack.
Good signing!

| Match Preview
Doncaster Rugby League Club is back in action at the Keepmoat Stadium this weekend and will entertain Workington Town in round 3 of the Kingstone Press Championship (3pm kick-off).
Both teams enjoyed promotion from Championship One last season and sit on four points after two rounds. Workington have played Swinton away and Halifax at home thus far and enjoyed an opening day win against the Lions (14-10) before losing to Halifax (8-20).
The Dons registered a superb 14-4 victory away at Barrow Raiders last weekend with tries from James Clare, Bobbie Goulding and Lee Waterman. 19 year-old Goulding kicked the only goal of the afternoon in a game that was played in very tricky conditions up in the North West.
Dons' head coach Tony Miller is still without Liam Cunningham who continues to overcome a shoulder problem. Cunningham fell awkwardly during the Dons' opening Championship fixture against Dewsbury and it's unclear how long the centre will be out for.
Kyle Trout of Wakefield Trinity Wildcats is another dual registration addition to the Dons squad and joins Goulding, Danny Cowling and Liam Kay. 21 year-old Trout plays in the back row, has good Super League experience with the Wildcats and scored his first top flight try against champions Leeds last June.
Castleford's loan signing James Clare, who scored from a charge down on his debut last week, is also included in Miller's squad whilst the club's medical team will check on the fitness of prop Mark Castle after picking up a knock against Barrow.
Miller said: "I was thrilled with the way we played at Barrow and it was the response I was looking for after our disappointing defeat to Dewsbury.
"Victories are hard to come by up in Cumbria so it was very pleasing to bring the three points home in those difficult conditions.
"We're back on home soil this Sunday and we'll be looking to utilise the wide pitch at the Keepmoat Stadium just like we did last season so well.
"We've got plenty of pace in our back line so it's important they get involved and they'll hopefully be given plenty of try-scoring opportunities from our half-backs.
"Workington are a strong side and already have an impressive away win under their belt this season so we'll need another solid performance to get the points."
Workington's head coach Gary Charlton is boosted by the return of Jamie Acton following a four-match ban, while Jason Mossop and Kris Coward could also feature for Town.
However, Elliott Miller and Graeme Mattinson are still side-lined for Town, who are aiming to bounce back from a 20-8 defeat against Halifax last weekend at Derwent Park.
Charlton is targeting an improved offensive display and said: "We had a few sets on their line and we have to be more clinical.
"We should have asked a few more questions. We didn't find the final pass when we needed it."
It promises to be a cracking afternoon of top quality rugby league at the Keepmoat - make sure you don't miss out! #COYD

| I think it's fair to say, at this moment in time, we have Workingtons number and their game plan down to a tea. Only conceding 2 tries in the three games proves that.
The first couple of times Thackray played for them I was annoyed he was showing form he never showed for us, but these last three times have been vintage. Come on, concede 2 penalties without touching the ball, get the monk on and storm off (the Worknigton forum sugests he walked off with 20 mintues to go after be subbed).
Greatd efensive display from the Dons, we road our luck a couple of times in the first half but took most of our chances when they arose.
Dennis was fantastic, Fawcett look very busy and had his best game of the season so far.
Waller off loads almost a little too much for me, I'd like to see him get his head down and crash it in more often (like he did for his try)

| On the back of a good win at Barrow that is a poor crowd. I see that Doony Knigths pulled in just short of 1,300 and they are bottom of the league and hadn't won for ages until Saturday.

| Waller my MOM to be honest he must have played over 60mins?
I think Adam was a great ball carrier and off loader but he stopped doing it and just became another forward, I would encourage Waller to keep doing it, that's what helps overlap, especially as they were putting 3 men into tackle each time.
I know he didn't play for long, but we always seem to step up a gear when Grant comes on...excellent try and some lovely passes in last 15 mins.

| First Dons game for me for 2 years (I'm someone who went to most matches 2001-2009). Whilst i'll always be a Dons fan the team of course are new to me. First impressions are very good. The effort they put in yesterday must have been the same effort that won them promotion (and the title last year). I was critical of Miller on his reappointment however the team spirit he has built up is evidently a winning one.
I enjoyed the game itself, the first 20 minutes I actually thought Workington were slightly the better side and could took a hold on the game during this period, however after we got the first try we were the better side and well deserved victors.
Less than 700 is a bit disappointing, but that should start to build over the season. It is understandable the 40% drop (my guesstimate) in att over the last 10 years, but this should start moving back towards the 1,000 mark I feel.
Again nice team effort, Chris Spurrs break for the 2nd try was enjoyable, the pack seem strong. Attacking seemed like it was based on a solid foundation and George seems to have developed mini cult status already!!
All in all good day, I shall be back for the Batley game
UP THE DONS

Thats strange, because I swear he was carted backwards over the line for Wallers try with 10 minutes left, having given away both penalties just prior to that...

No...
Definitely my imagination then...
