| Tony Miller will appeal against Kyle Kesik’s sending off in the Dons’ 54-10 defeat to Championship big-hitters Featherstone Rovers.
But Miller this week defended his player’s actions and declared himself happy with his side’s fighting spirit at the Big Fellas Stadium - calling for more of the same when Doncaster host London Skolars in the same competition on Sunday (3pm).
IMO rightly so after watching video

| It must be difficult for a player to just stand there while one of his mates gets a seeing to (often two to one) and the ref sees his job as not intervening until there are casualties.
And if he does go to his mate's assistance, he has to go flying in, he can't dawdle. And once there, he may well just try to get his mate free, not necessarily with punches.
He shouldn't do anything of course, he should stand there and watch.

| i asked Thaler why he sent Kesik off and he said he was the 3rd man in punching, i said what about Bostwick and Halley who were both giving uppercuts and he just smiled and said he did not see them? take from that what you will.
i don't think he did anything bad enough to be sent off.

| If he couldn,t see anything he must have had his eyes closed and I don't think even specsavers could help him if he didn't see anything.Maybe he went to wrong side so he wouldn't have to send fev players off but touch judge should have seen something from where he was.
