| What are we thinking from the below? it would be nice to win the remaining home games and perhaps salford away on the last day of the season. Wire away would be a cream your pants moment. I would be delighted if we could grab 10th spot.

Rd. 24: Sun 11 Aug v Castleford (Home) KO 3.00pm

| I was talking about this today with one of the lads in work. If we had our early season form, 4 wins wouldn't be beyond the realms. However, 3 wins are possible, 2 wins probable and 1 or 5 unthinkable........doing the double over W*re would indeed induce trouser creamage.......Dare to Dream......

| I may be being a bit optimistic here but possibly we can win 4 out of the last 5, I would be disappointed if we only managed one win out of the lot though as we have 2 home games which we should be winning.

Very possible because Hull have a difficult game on Sunday and we will be fresh come next friday.Beat Salford away and two home wins.Lose to Warrington away.

| I have said in other threads that the remainder of the season should be treated as the start of next season as preparation. We must be allowing for a maximum of just 2 defeats and competitive ones at that.Trouble is we are always looking for the opposition the be below par and ourselves at full strength which is the wrong out look.We just seem to hope that our next opponents will be in poor form, suffering from injuries, not up for it etc.Even when we played London last week we were pleased about the absence of their key players instead of just concentrating on ourselves. No doubt when Cas come here then some fans will be praying for the non appearance of Chase.I actually think Cas will come here and run riot due to a combination of our woeful defence and the fact that they are now playing with confidence and freedom since appointing Powell

Take Chase out of the game and smash him up.He is their main threat and it is about how much Betts can fire up the troops to win, as our home form is good.

| Should beat Salford on the last day. Cas look a good outfit with Powell at the helm though. I really want to get one over Hull KR - when was the last time we beat them? They must have won at least six on the spin against us, three in NL1 2006 and three in SL?
I'd probably be happy with two wins to be honest.

| As a nosey Hull fan I can see you winning three and depending on how the FC players bodies and minds are it could be four, which would put you in the play offs at our expense.

Hope you're right, but to be honest, our away form ( and especially our record in your fair city) doesn't exactly fill me with confidence. If we're to make the 8, then Friday is a must win game, but your boys are going to have to be absolutely knackered for us to do that.

| When you look at the table Friday is a massive game in the playoff race yet for some reason Leeds vs London is getting more attention!
A Widnes win would really pull everything wise open from 8th to 11th with just 4 games left! A Hull win building off the Semi final victory could really fire them back into some league form at the 'business end' of the season.
