| Quote: 1977 "Best aussie import, Phil McKenzie without doubt the best aussie to play for the Chemics and also one of the best players i have seen play for us since i started watching the game in 1970.'"
Yes Phil Mc great hooker think he took the hooking roll to the next level setting the standards for today , tough strong eye for a gap great hands and great defence ,pitty still living in the uk wanted to play for GB and the RFL turning him down after getting British citizenship Great player ! But i still would have Keith 'Cheify ' Elwell in my dream team too pocket battleship of the Bench too! Imagine that as a Hooker rotation ! Think both played full 80 mins no Hooker rotation then , Bring back the good days

| That I've seen I would have to say Tony Myler... mesmerising at times. Possibly the most all rounded player I've seen.
In terms of coaching, Laughton would be the easy answer but Kelly worked miracles for me. I know he brought in a few to that 2000 team but the turnaround that season and the performances in the first season in SL was something else.

But now, despite being born n bred Rugby League he is lost to the game, working for the RFU & IRB with emerging nations coaching set ups.

| The player who made the most difference to the club has got to be Vinty Karalius.
Until he arrived we were a tough team of triers, but he expected more and he got it. Joe Egan was the coach but Vinty really made things tick.

| Doug Laughton
(He got us some wonderful players)
Martin Offiah
(I would have chosen Tony Myler but it was such a crying shame he had so many injuries, one if not the best 6 in the world when fully fit)
