It certainly didnt live upto the hype imo I thought Leeds would have tried to throw the kitchen sink at us but never did. I think them being still in it at half time kinda messed things up can imagine barry mc telling them more of the same wheras had we built a bigger lead then they would have had 2 change things up as in last 10 min they started to throw ball around

What the CC final needs is a classic David and Goliath clash. The top sides have reduced this game to a boring bashathon. Massive yawn.

There was no anticipation on Saturday; no romance. I was bored with it before it'd even kicked off.

Leeds were incredibly negative. Going for the kick when you are behind and the tryline is begging is such a dismal tactic it encourages nothing but negativity.

They were also their own worst enemy. Finally gather up a bit of momentum and then give away cheap penalties. Very familiar!

Warrington were good for the win, but the occasion deserved a better performance from their opponents.

Nope gone are the days of us having to pay over the odds to get the players in top quality players want to win trophys and theres now a good chance they can do that if they join us.

I think a lot of people behind the scenes deserve a lot of credit for creating a strong brand that is warrington wolves.

putting it into perspective the cc is massive in Oz so we will have fantastic exposure over there so if we are up against say cas huddersfield for a player then it wont come purely down to cash money

Fair comment and depends also how much more money offered elsewhere and the length of the contract.Bonuses for final appearnces and postion in the league maybe in the contract.So been at Warrington he may get more bonus and sponsorship etc.If i was offered say £30,000 more a year for a few seasons i go for the money, as a short career.He could get a nasty injury in the next few years, as you never know in Sport.
