Both teams pretty low right now. But, that being said, it could be a good entertaining game. We have have a few injured & of course Rangi suspended. You lot remind me of Cas when we got promoted for the 2008 season, capable of some good stuff but when the going gets tough, the blowouts come your way.

Prediction, close game going down to the last few mins with you lot out enthusing us to win 28-20.

Im going to predict lots for Cas and not so many for Widnes. Bout 40-6 or something like that. Away from home we are just so so bad!

I think Cas will win 42-10.

I predict not too many fans travelling to Castleford after seeing so many heavy defeats away from home.Been on sky will make it easier to watch on tv than to be humilated.Castleford to win by 20 points.

Honestly, without Chase, we offer not much in attack. If Cas do win, it certainly won't be by the said margins.


How's Isa been for you this year? I was a tad annoyed we released him, we have 1 centre left in Arundel, who is injured.

Mate been for a few yrs as a Widnes fan.We have had crap coaches and players who are just after a pay cheque.I want players with the pride in the shirt.Until get rid of Pinky and Perky we will always be dog turd.We got smashed by Leigh too many times and I have no faith in the team.

Isa's played well on the wing, clueless at centre.

Ill definately be there, we'll take a couple imo. They have struggled themselves Cas so it should be interesting. especially with them missing Chase. I'm going to get my hopes up for this as i believe its one of a few we can actually win.

Not sure how we are looking on the 'medium term' injuries i.e. Briscoe and Hanbury though I think at least Briscoe will be out still. Hopefully any playing with a few knocks (same with Cas possibly) will have enjoyed a week off. How is it looking at Cas? Who out etc.

Neither sides defence is particularly good at all and both know when they do move it about then they can score and tbh I feel that the side that goes in with the most confidence in their ability will win. The one who plays it cagely and tries to ease into the game won't.

Betts should have a point to prove against Millward and hopefully will send the lads out firing. Don't expect many to travel if on the box and given recent away trouncings but a nice day may swing a few on the day.

Your team hasn't conceded an average of 40 points plus per game though.
I am starting to feel a little optimistic about this one now,if not a win then a dignified loss at least.Surely the team now must be sick to the back teeth of the shellackings and humiliation.Three weeks off almost,fresh legs,niggling injuries cleared up,playing against a team themselves on a low, this represents the perfect opportunity to put in a performance.I will be disappointed to lose but if it's heavily then you just can't see any improvement from here on in. 29-22 Cas with home advantage swinging it.

With an average of 5.67 points scored & 57.3 points conceded on our travels this season, forgive me for having no faith in Widnes come Monday!
