without sounding harsh it would be like employing the superleague version of Gareth Haggerty. No matter how good they are, if they cant get on the pitch its pointless. Now whether his injuries have been broken bones i dont know, this would hopefully (not for him of course) have been the case. If it was a re-occuring unjury like a shoulder/knee problem, hamstring or other muscle problem i wouldn't touch the guy.
