How good is this kid??

Liked him when he played Hooker when he 1st came into the team. For me though he has really excelled at FB. I know he has made a couple of slight mistakes but nothing that a bit more experiance wont iron out.

That try he set up last night was top drawer and I reckon he can go on to be a big star in Superleague.

eye. his father was a top draw second row who could be creative and his brother wasn't bad either.

He`s cr*p ........not good enough for SL - think he should come to Leigh next season so King Millward can learn him to be a good player.

His grandad was a good un as well - Frank Myler.

And his great grandmother was a Karalius - Vinty's auntie.

The Hulme brothers,hard as nails they were.Not much appreciated at the time by many in the Widnes crowd but they were tough customers whose contibution was invaluable to the team.I remain surprised that either or both of them never played down under in the old Sydney Premiership.They would have been in their element there in the late eighties,early nineties.

This guy is a superb talent. Lets hope he is given the No.1 jersey for Widnes' first season back in SL and given a chance to quickly realise his great potential. I fear, however, that some Aussie/Kiwi will be the incumbent full-bacl copme the start of 2012.

As we've signed Shaun Briscoe I can see neither being the case bare in mind Danny Craven was also number one before his injury!

Hulme is an exceptional talent, every time he collects a kick I get the feeling he could go the length, even with players in front of him (as he showed at Halifax) he has great awareness and a top step to find gaps and runs a decent line through the middle too.

A bit more work in defence and also in tuning into the attacking line and we'll have a real quality player as a full back option and maybe even a return to the halves for him, though would see him more as a 6 then a 7.

I think it might have been against Halifax earlier on in the season or potentially Barrow when Danny had that terrific game and score some great tries.

He has super footwork and really demonstrated a knack for joining the attacking line at just the right place and time in that game.

Maybe even Shaun Briscoe?
